I'm having trouble with my laptop's left mouse button. The right button works just fine, but the left one just won't click properly—it doesn't make the usual clicking sound, and even if I press down really hard, it still doesn't respond. Any advice on fixing this issue?

Using excessive force won't really help. If it was fixable, pushing harder isn't going to make it work. Might be best to just buy a USB mouse instead.
Are you sure you're referring to the mousepad on your laptop? If so, you might just need to replace some parts to fix it.
Honestly, it's either going to cost a lot to fix or just a little for a new one. Seems like a no-brainer to me!
If you’re having issues with the touchpad, don’t rule out battery swelling. It could be pressing against the mouse area. Just keep an eye out for swelling, as that can be pretty dangerous!
You could look into replacing the switch inside, or just make the switch to a new mouse. It might save you a lot of hassle!
