What should I do with my broken power supply unit?

Hey everyone! My PC's power supply unit (PSU) just gave up on me, and I replaced it with a new one from the store. However, they seemed really interested in taking my old PSU, which is an NZXT C650 full modular gold standard. I brought it back home instead, just to be safe. Since it's broken, I know I can't sell it, but I'm curious if there's any way I could sell it for parts or if it could be refurbished. Any ideas on what I can do with this faulty PSU?

Did you know that the C Series Gold PSUs usually come with a 10-year warranty? You might want to consider returning it under that warranty to get a replacement instead of letting it go to waste! It could save you a bit of money since you just bought a new one.

If it’s really dead, recycling is a great option. You can often find places that dispose of electronic waste properly. No one wants an expensive paperweight, right?!

Honestly, it's best not to mess around with transformers and power supply units unless you're trained for it. They can be pretty dangerous, so I'd recommend just recycling it or maybe using it as a paperweight.
