I'm looking for suggestions on what programming language to learn next after getting comfortable with TypeScript for backend development. Any recommendations?

A few other options could be Rust, Haskell, Clojure, or Scala. However, Go is probably your best bet for practical use and ease of transition from TypeScript.

For sure! Go is definitely more practical and used in production settings, making it a solid next step.

You might want to learn whichever language is currently in demand in your area. That way, you'll be more marketable!

I’d recommend checking out Go. It’s pretty popular and I think you’d find it easier to transition from TypeScript.

Definitely consider PHP. It's been around for a while and still widely used in web development.

Honestly, just pick any language that interests you! But I'd say Go would likely be the smoothest transition from TypeScript.
