I'm currently using a Ryzen 3600 CPU and a Radeon RX 580 GPU. I mostly play Minecraft and I'm wondering which component I should upgrade first. I don't think I need anything too powerful, but I'd like to get some advice on whether I should go for a new GPU or CPU first. Thanks!

I’d say definitely upgrade the GPU first! The RX 6600 could be a good choice, especially if you're looking for better performance without breaking the bank.
If your games are starting to lag or you're not getting the performance you want, go for the graphics card upgrade. The RX 580 can struggle with newer titles due to low VRAM and weak rasterizing. For most shooters or RPGs, a new GPU will give you the best boost for your gaming experience.
Honestly, I upgraded from an RX 580 to an RX 5700 XT and saw a huge jump in performance. Your CPU is still capable of handling games well, so focus on getting a better GPU first. For around $200, you could pick up something like a 6600 XT or RTX 3060, which would run games much better, even at higher resolutions up to 1440p!
