I've been using my PC since 2017 and have made several upgrades over the years. Here's what I currently have: a Gigabyte B550M DS3H motherboard, a Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, an RTX 2060 Ti GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 2TB hard drive partitioned into two, and a 650W power supply. While it was a solid build back in 2019, it's starting to feel outdated. My main issue is that during gaming—especially with ARK Survival Ascendant—my disk writing hits 100%. I'm looking to upgrade part by part, starting with a 1TB SSD as it seems to be the most pressing need. I'm open to suggestions on what to prioritize next. Thanks for the help!

I'd recommend upgrading in this order: first get an SSD/NVMe (about $200 for 2TB), then the GPU (like a 5070 for $550), next the CPU (5600X for $140 or 5800X3D for $550), and finally, consider upgrading to 32GB RAM with a 2x16GB kit for around $200. That should really boost your performance!
Just to double-check, did you mean the RTX 2060, 2080 Ti, or the 3060 Ti? It's a bit unclear. If you have the 2060 Ti, it's decent, but you might want to look at upgrades soon.
The SSD is definitely what's holding you back right now. It’s surprising that many builds back in 2017 didn’t come with an SSD, but getting one should really help your load times and performance!
You should definitely go for a 1TB or even 2TB NVMe SSD first. Something like the Patriot P400 Lite is great for the price—I’ve seen it around $110 per TB. It’ll make a world of difference for your loading times and overall performance.

Thanks for the detailed plan! That makes a lot of sense.
