What should I watch out for when migrating Azure VMs and SQL Server to a new landing zone?

I'm looking for some advice on the potential challenges and considerations when migrating Azure IaaS VMs and SQL servers across subscriptions within the same tenant. I'm using Azure resource mover, but I've run into issues moving VMs into new VNets because the NICs are tied to specific subnets. My migration is cross-subscription but within the same region. I've also thought about using recovery services vaults to create snapshots of the production VMs after hours and recreate them, but doing this manually for over 200 servers seems daunting. Are there any automated approaches you've found effective for migrating these VMs to ensure they align with a CAF-compliant landing zone? Thanks!

Have you considered why you're moving resources instead of just restructuring the subscription to fit an enterprise scale landing zone? Sometimes it can be easier to put the whole sub into a better framework rather than moving everything around.

I wish it were that simple! The current setup is a complete mess—everything's piled into one subscription without proper management or RBAC. We need a fresh start with a proper landing zone for security and organization.
