We're looking to streamline how we track laptop deployments and manage equipment for our remote employees across different sites. I recommend checking out Snipe-IT. It can look up warranty dates for most major brands if you enter the serial number or service tag. It might not cover everything perfectly, but it’s a good start!
It can do that for single assets, but it doesn’t really scale well. We're creating an Azure Automation Runbook to pull device data from Intune and associate it with the latest signed-in user. Then we're looking to automate getting warranty info using API keys from manufacturers like Lenovo and HP.
