I'm having some issues with my USB drive. I've been transferring archives from my PC to it, but suddenly all my files have disappeared. The only issue I've noticed so far is that the transfer speed was really slow, and some of my pictures got corrupted. Is there anything I can do to recover my files without deleting them?

Just a tip for the future: always use copy and paste instead of dragging files over. It really helps avoid losing data during transfers.
It sounds like your USB drive might be in bad shape. If the files are gone, you might want to consider replacing the drive altogether since it could be failing. Backing up your important files regularly can prevent this kind of trouble in the future.
Have you tried running CHKDSK on your USB drive? It can sometimes fix errors. I know you mentioned trying it already, but it might be worth giving it another shot to see if anything changes.
