I'm getting all my components ready to build my PC but I'm a bit confused about what tools I really need. Is a contact frame worth getting? What's the best kind of screwdriver to use? Should I consider an electric screwdriver, or is it not that necessary? Also, should I go for a mini toolkit or just buy a couple of individual tools? Are there any other miscellaneous items I should grab before I get started?

You would ideally want a Phillips head screwdriver and maybe some scissors or pliers. If you want to be fancy, getting an iFixIt kit could be worth it. Electric screwdrivers aren’t necessary for just one build. Also, stock up on should-have consumables like zip ties, Velcro, and some rubbing alcohol for cleaning up any mess!
You'll mainly need a Phillips head screwdriver, probably size #2. Having wire snips for zip ties can also be helpful. As for the contact frame, it can be helpful depending on your CPU socket, especially if you're working with something like an i7 or i9. For electric screwdrivers, they can be tricky in tight spaces, so stick with a manual one unless you're doing this professionally.
One more tip: get a cup or a container to keep all your screws in while you're building. It helps avoid losing them during the process!
Honestly, a #2 Phillips screwdriver will do the job just fine. You might want a smaller one for some of the motherboard screws, but it's not a necessity. Also, having some rubbing alcohol and swabs handy can be useful if you get thermal paste where it shouldn't be, which can happen!
A basic Phillips screwdriver should cover it, but having sizes #0, #1, and #2 can be useful for different screws. If you're using zip ties, consider getting some electronics side cutters. Contact frames are mainly for serious overclocking. And honestly, electric screwdrivers can break things if you're not careful, so better to stick with a hand tool.
Got it, thanks for the advice! I think I'm way overthinking this.
