I'm trying to figure out the kind of port that I have on my computer. My second HDMI port is broken, and I can't find a good way to connect my computer to my TV. I bought a USB to HDMI adapter, but it doesn't work at all, and I really don't want to waste more money on faulty parts. I need to know if this port is a video port and what it's specifically called so I can look for the right HDMI adapter cable.

That’s a DVI port! It was pretty common before HDMI became popular. You can definitely grab an HDMI to DVI adapter and it should work for your setup. Just make sure it's a DVI-D dual link adapter for the best performance! Haha, tell me about it! I feel old too!
Here’s a visual reference for you! That might help identify the port. [Image](https://preview.redd.it/ptiypqtbnu1g1.png?width=5692&format=png&auto=webp&s=a7a2856caf96e31060eb3f4c0058abae27c2f7be)

Oh yeah, definitely dual link DVI-D!
