Hey everyone! I have a PC with some specific components, and I'm looking for your advice on upgrades that would significantly enhance its performance. I have an i5-9400k processor, a 1050ti graphics card, 8GB of SODIMM RAM, and a 350W power supply. My goal isn't to play the latest AAA games on ultra settings, but I do want to run current games at a good level. Any suggestions on what I should upgrade? Thanks!

You might want to consider upgrading your GPU first; something like an RTX 2060 can really help with newer games. Just keep in mind that your power supply is only 350W, so you’ll need to ensure that any new GPU is compatible with that. Also, adding another 8GB stick of RAM could improve multitasking and overall performance.
Given your power limit, upgrading the power supply would allow for more options with GPUs. However, it’s a bit tricky since your PSU has a unique design. If upgrading isn't an option, maybe prioritize a better graphics card and additional RAM for noticeable improvements without a complete overhaul.
What's involved in upgrading the power supply? Would it be a big hassle?
Honestly, it might be better to save for a new PC in the long run. However, if you're tight on budget, look into getting a more powerful used GPU or RAM. With around 500 AUD, you might find some good deals that can somewhat enhance your gaming experience for now.
What kind of GPU should I look for that fits a reasonable budget?

Are there specific models of GPUs that would work well with my power supply?
