I'm close to finalizing my PC build, aiming to keep it around the £1,000 mark. I'm considering two case options but haven't made a choice yet. I already have an SSD. Here's my current parts list:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 9600X – £199.99
- **GPU:** Palit GeForce RTX 5060 Dual OC 8GB GDDR7 – £290.00
- **Motherboard:** Sapphire Pulse B850M WiFi (AM5, mATX) – £129.95
- **RAM:** Patriot Viper Venom EXPO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 – £329.99
- **PSU:** Aerocool Integrator Gold 750W Modular – £72.94
- **Case options:**
- Phanteks XT M3 mATX – £43.89
- Jonsbo D31 mATX (Tempered Glass) – £54.95

I'd like to keep everything in one place for shipping efficiency, but I'm open to suggestions if there's a significant price difference. The CPU cooler I plan to use is the Peerless Assassin 120. Any recommendations before I pull the trigger on this order?

If you're going for the 5060, it's a decent choice for pricing. But if you can find a used GPU market, that might open up better options too. You could definitely get away with 16GB of RAM opening funds for a better GPU. I’m assuming this is mainly for gaming?

Yep, it is for gaming! I've been doing some tweaks based on the feedback here.

Don't forget an SSD in your build! If you're set on that budget, going for an AM4 system might save you money on RAM and CPU costs, allowing room for the SSD and keeping you within budget. Also, remember a Windows license unless you're using Linux. Some people recommend free options, but personally, I like having a legit copy to avoid future issues.

I already have an SSD and a Windows 11 license, so I'm good on that front!

I’d skip the 5060 and check out the 9060XT instead, ideally the 16GB version—it’s a lot more powerful.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the price has gone up on those lately, though. It's worth considering!

Looks like a solid build, but do you really need 32GB of RAM? I’d suggest going for 16GB for now and saving up for a better GPU. You can always upgrade the RAM later if needed.

Thanks, I’ve been considering that too. I might go for 2x8GB and see how it fits my needs. If it saves me some cash, I might reach for a better GPU like the 5070 later.
