It's been two years since I built my PC, and lately, I've noticed it's been lagging during gameplay. I've already cleared out unnecessary RAM, but I'm wondering if I should upgrade any components. Here are my specs:

- CPU: Intel i5 13400F 10 Core / 16 Thread
- CPU Cooler: DeepCool AG400 ARGB White
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B660m Aorus Pro AX
- Graphics Card: Zotac RTX 4060 8GB Twin Edge White
- Memory: 16GB T Force Delta RGB DDR4 (2x8GB 3200MHz)
- Storage: 1TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 (up to 3,600MB/s read speeds)
- Power Supply: EVGA 650 BP 650W 80+ Bronze

I mainly want smooth performance and better FPS, particularly with demanding games. Currently, I play at 1080p but plan to upgrade to 1440p soon. Any suggestions on what I should consider upgrading?

What games are you playing? That can really affect your upgrade path. Some titles are more CPU-intensive, while others lean on the GPU. If you're into games like RDR2 and Elden Ring, both the GPU and CPU matter, but upgrading your graphics card will probably give you the biggest immediate boost.

I play a mix including COD and Sekiro. It's mostly about the action and performance for those games!

To boost your gaming performance, consider upgrading your graphics card first since you're aiming to support higher resolutions. The RTX 4060 is decent, but if you’re moving to 1440p, something like the RTX 4070 or similar might give you that extra push. Also, keeping your drivers updated can help improve FPS in some games!

Good call on the GPU! But don't overlook your RAM either; if you can, bumping up to 32GB could help with multitasking and improve performance in heavy games.
