What Video Card Should I Get for My 2013 PC?

Hey everyone! I've got an older home-built PC from 2013 featuring an MSI Z87-G45 motherboard, an Intel i5 (4th gen) CPU, and a 750W power supply. Unfortunately, my trusty 4GB Radeon R9 380 GPU just kicked the bucket. Luckily, I'm still able to use the onboard graphics, so I can shop around for a new graphics card. I'm curious about how much I should consider upgrading. I know my motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0 and that my CPU might bottleneck new GPUs. I'm not ready for a complete overhaul just yet, but I'm looking for something moderately upgraded that would work well in my current setup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because my Valheim wolf pack misses me - or at least the tasty deer steaks I usually provide them!

You might want to consider getting a used RX 580. It's a solid choice for your setup without breaking the bank!

Honestly, I wouldn't spend too much on a GPU for a CPU as old as yours. Something like the RX 480 or RX 580 (8GB) would be great, maybe even a GTX 1070 if you can find a good deal.

I think something like the GTX 1070 or 1660 Super could work well without your CPU holding things back too much. Just be careful not to go too high-end, or you'll start hitting that bottleneck.
