I'm in the market for a new GPU and have a budget of about $250 to $300, maybe stretching to $280 if necessary. I used to have an RX 6600 but had a pretty bad experience with it as it came faulty and crashed frequently. I'm hoping to find a card that can deliver decent performance—I'm aiming for 75-144 fps at 1080p, and I'm not overly picky about top-tier performance. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5 5600x, MSI Pro B550-A WiFi II, and 32GB DDR4 RAM, powered by an RM650 80+ Gold supply. Should I consider refurbished options, or can I find a new card within my budget?

If you want to switch to Nvidia, you should check out the RTX 5060. It offers a pretty nice upgrade over the RX 6600 you had before.
Considering your past issues with a faulty card, I'd recommend buying new this time. It's worth trying to stretch your budget to $300 for something like the RTX 5060 or RX 9060 XT 8GB, although the 16GB variant would be even better.
You might want to save up a bit more and aim for around $350-$400 to snag an RX 9060 XT 16GB or an RTX 5060 16GB. They might go on sale soon, but I wouldn't count on it.
