What’s Causing Overheating and FPS Drops After My PC Upgrade?

I've been dealing with overheating issues on my gaming PC for the past two years. It used to have an RTX 4090 and an i9 3900k, but the motherboard pins were fried due to overheating. I upgraded to a new i9 14900k CPU, an ASUS TUF Z790 motherboard, and a 360mm Corsair Titan CPU cooler. Although I undervolted my CPU which helped a bit, I'm still experiencing severe overheating problems. Now, when I play games, the graphics are blurry and glitchy, and my FPS drops drastically from 360 to around 90 on games that aren't even that demanding. I swapped in 2x32GB Corsair DDR5 6400 RAM sticks, but the issues persist. The only components I haven't replaced are the power supply and storage, which were tested and deemed fine. I also ran GPU tests that showed no issues. I have a dual monitor setup (one 1080p and one 1440p), but that didn't seem to cause problems before I changed the parts. I'm at a loss about what's causing this!

Have you monitored your temperatures while gaming and even when you're not doing anything? Also, check if your fans are spinning properly. Don't forget about the thermal paste application on your CPU! If you're overclocking, that could contribute to the overheating as well. You might want to use HWMonitor to check the temps and fan RPM.

Yeah, I checked the temps, and my PC is around 30°C when idle and 40-45°C during gaming according to HWinfo.
