I've been really frustrated with the stability of Claude over the past week. It feels like everything has gone downhill suddenly. For starters, I can't get the Claude app on my Android phone to work at all; I've been getting a "No internet connection" error for three days now, and I haven't heard back from support after I reached out. Is this normal for them?
Then there's the Windows Desktop app, which has also turned into a nightmare:
1. Every time I open it or start a new chat, I have to go through some human verification (which is just a checkbox, thankfully), but it's annoying nonetheless.
2. When I try to scroll through conversations or send messages, the whole thing freezes up, and I have to restart the app constantly—sometimes more than 10 times a day!
3. I keep getting random internal error messages saying it can't process requests, even when I'm not doing anything.
Just last week everything was running smoothly, and now it's like a totally different experience. It's disappointing, especially considering I paid for a whole year and can't rely on the product anymore. It feels like there were no proper tests before all this happened. Anyone else feeling this pain?

I've been having similar problems. The Claude app won't even read my PDFs anymore. It's frustrating trying to figure out what's going on with the service; nothing seems stable right now.
It seems like all the major AI companies are in this fast-paced mode, and it's hitting hard. You can't really depend on them for anything critical right now. The upside is we get features fast, but the downside is the bugs come just as quickly!
I hear you, but I don't think Claude is as reckless as some others. They seem pretty careful with feature rollouts. But yeah, their applications definitely feel fragile right now, which is a big problem.
I actually had Claude read a PDF just the other day, and it worked fine for me!
