What’s the Best AMD GPU for an Intel 270K Plus Build?

I'm about to build a full tower PC with a budget of around $2,000, focusing on productivity but I'll game occasionally. I've decided to go with the new Intel CPU, but I'm really unsure which AMD GPU would be the best match. I'm not interested in Nvidia options since price-to-performance ratio matters more to me than Ray tracing features. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! The RX 9070 XT looks like the winner for me since my main productivity focus will be programming. I'm excited about the new Intel refresh and hoping to snag some good deals this summer when I finally build my PC.

You're on the right track! Just remember, sometimes even a basic setup can handle programming tasks just fine.

Agreed! As for GPU choice, AMD can be a challenge, but it sounds like you have a solid plan.

Honestly, just get the best you can afford. The 9070 XT is a great option if you want something high-end and relatively reasonable on pricing. Plus, it's beneficial for gaming and should handle your productivity tasks, but make sure it's well supported for whatever you plan to do with it.

I appreciate the input! I’m primarily focusing on programming tasks.

Just keep in mind that AMD GPUs might not be the best for heavy productivity. Make sure your workload is supported.

The AMD 9070 XT is a solid choice. If you're not considering Nvidia and don’t have a strict budget, it seems to be the best option available right now.

I've been scouting for one and saw some used ones listed for just about $300 on eBay. Might be worth checking out!

Yeah, if price and performance are your priorities, this card fits the bill really well.

If you're leaning toward productivity alongside gaming, consider the type of software you’ll be using. AMD has its limitations in some workloads. But for gaming, the 9070 XT is definitely the best performing card currently available without ridiculous prices.

True, but if gaming is more of a side thing, you might save some cash and go for the 9060 XT with 16GB.

That’s a good point. The 9060 XT could provide better value depending on how serious your gaming needs are.
