What’s the Best APU for Playing CS2 Smoothly?

I'm looking to play CS2 and some older games, and I'm curious about which AM4 CPU with integrated graphics would provide a smooth experience. Ideally, I want to achieve around 144 FPS at 1080p. Any recommendations?

If you want to save some cash, even a GTX 1660 can run CS2 much better than any integrated graphics. Check around for used ones on eBay; just make sure to buy from reliable sellers to avoid any issues!

Good call! I’ll definitely keep an eye out for a used GPU.

I've been around the block with these things! The Ryzen 5 5700G is probably one of the best options out there for integrated graphics, but even that's not hitting 144 FPS consistently in CS2. If you can swing it, grab a cheap used dedicated GPU. Something like a GTX 1060 or RX 570 would do a much better job. You’ll be glad you did!

Totally agree! Those old cards are still solid for the price!

Honestly, I have a pretty old setup with an i7-4790K and a GTX 760, and it works fine for me. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but I can still run CS2. So if you’re on a budget, you might want to consider any half-decent older GPU for the best experience!

If you’re considering an APU without a dedicated GPU, you might be looking at something like the Ryzen 7 8700G. It has decent integrated graphics but getting stable 144 FPS at 1080p might be pushing it a bit. Honestly, if you can, go for a dedicated GPU like a GTX 1650 or better; it’ll give you much better performance for less money than the 8700G.
