I'm looking to upgrade my CPU but I want to stay on budget since Christmas and Cyber Monday are coming up. I currently have a Ryzen 2600 and plenty of DDR4 RAM, but I'm struggling to find newer CPUs that support it. Ideally, I'm looking for something under $200. Any suggestions?

You might want to consider the Ryzen 5 5600 or the Ryzen 7 5700X. They offer great performance and should fit your budget nicely.
Keep in mind that while you can go for the i5 14400F, the DDR4 may hold it back a bit compared to some AM4 options. A 5600X is a noticeable upgrade over the 2600 if you're looking for performance.
Just a heads up, the Ryzen 5600(X) will fit with a BIOS update on your current motherboard. Plus, it’ll be well under $200, making it a great choice.
The i5 12600K is another solid option for DDR4. It’s a powerful gaming CPU, and you can grab a cheap LGA 1700 motherboard that supports DDR4.
If you're getting a new motherboard, don't stress about it too much! Just know that your current setup can handle some solid upgrades. But if you want something new, the i5 14400F is looking pretty good!
