I'm putting together a list for my new gaming build and need some advice on which SSD to pick. I've had good experiences with Samsung drives before, like the 970 Evo, but I'm not sure what the best options are in the current market. If you're not super picky, even a basic SATA SSD would work well for gaming. Just check for a good price per GB and a decent TBW rating. The prices are a bit wild right now, so the cheapest reliable brand may be your best bet.
Honestly, for gaming, most NVMe drives perform similarly. As long as you go for a TLC NAND SSD and avoid QLC ones, you should be fine. It's more about durability than gaming speeds. Just check out options from reputable brands, and you can’t go wrong!
