I'm on the hunt for a solid PC build, ideally around $1000 but willing to stretch up to $1500 if necessary. I'm mainly looking to play games like Minecraft with mods and light shaders, or games like Spider-Man, so I need something that can handle those without a hitch. I'll be using it for watching shows and potentially recording gameplay as well. I'm especially interested in finding a good CPU and GPU combo that suits my needs. I'd also appreciate guidance on what motherboard, power supply, and cooling solutions I should consider. Should I be looking at prebuilt systems on sale or is it better to buy individual parts? I live in the US, so I'm concerned about import prices. By the way, I'm looking at a Costco PC with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225F and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 – will this meet my needs, or should I aim for better components?

Do you have a Micro Center nearby? Also, what resolution are you planning to play at? I've heard 1080p is quite common among gamers, but if you're willing to consider higher resolutions, that could impact your build significantly.

I live about 2-2.5 hours from one. I've only played at 1080p before - is it worth trying out higher resolutions if my budget allows?
