What’s the Best Cooling System for an i7-14700KF in a Mid Tower Case?

I'm looking for advice on the best cooling solution for my i7-14700KF CPU, which I'm planning to install in a standard ATX mid tower case, either a Lian Li 217 or 011D. I've heard different opinions: some say that air cooling is sufficient (not just the Noctua option), while others argue that I should go for an AIO cooler. How does the cooling demand for the i7-14700KF compare to the i7-14700K? Is it true that the i7-14700K is one of the hottest CPUs out there?

If you're considering high performance, a 360mm AIO along with a thermal paste like PTM7950 is a great combo! Delidding the CPU could help with heat management, but I know that can sound a bit intimidating if you haven't done it before. It's basically removing the IHS for better cooling. Worth it if you're comfortable!

For the i7-14700K and KF, I recommend a 360mm AIO cooler. These CPUs are power hogs with a TDP around 250W when under load, so they can get pretty hot. Plus, they tend to have thermal issues, so good cooling is essential. The KF version is pretty much the same as the K, just without integrated graphics. If you can, go with a robust cooling solution to keep those temps down.
