I recently upgraded to an RTX 5070 GPU, and while it performs well in some games at 1080p, I'm noticing that it's not fully utilized in others. I currently have a 12600KF CPU running at 5.3 GHz on the P cores and 3.9 GHz on the E cores. Should I upgrade my CPU without changing my motherboard, or is it better to stick with what I have?

Are you sure your GPU isn’t being held back by a frame rate cap? Sometimes games limit FPS to match your monitor's refresh rate, which can make it look like the GPU isn’t fully utilized. Also, consider if your CPU might be bottlenecking in certain games. For example, in "The Last of Us," I've noticed fluctuating FPS and GPU usage myself.
Honestly, your 12600KF is still a solid choice to pair with the 5070, especially at 1440p. You might get better results by upgrading to a 1440p monitor instead. The visual boost will likely enhance your gaming experience more than a CPU swap at this point.
