Hey everyone! I've got a Fractal Meshify C case equipped with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and a Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler, along with an EVGA RTX 3080 Ti. I've also installed 4 Arctic P14 140mm fans, a 120mm Arctic P14, and a stock 120mm fan. Lately, I've noticed that my CPU and GPU temperatures are a bit higher than I'd like. Currently, I've set the top back fan to exhaust and the top front fan as an intake based on a recommendation I found. However, the temperature hasn't improved much. I'd appreciate any tips on optimal fan placement and how to fine-tune my fan curves! Thanks!

It's pretty common for air-cooled X3D chips to run a bit hot regardless of fan placement. One suggestion is to position some fans at the bottom of your case to blow air upwards. This way, the intake air can help cool your GPU instead of just sitting still. It’s crucial that the airflow comes in from both the front and the bottom, then exhausts through the top and rear.

That makes sense! I’ll look into adding some fans at the bottom. Since I’m getting a new PSU soon, I’ll have the chance to reorganize everything.
