I'm on the hunt for the best gaming PC build that fits a budget of around $2,000. I don't want to exceed $2,200, and I already have my keyboard, mouse, and monitors, so I'm just looking for the actual PC itself. My primary use will be gaming, but I might do some schoolwork later. What should I consider for my build?

I built a PC with a 5070 Ti and a 9800X3D that came in around $2,300 after tax. If you buy one of the $829 5070 Tis and snag a 9800X3D bundle at Micro Center or Newegg, you can definitely get it under $2,000.
In Norway, the prices for those parts are wild! Just the 5070 Ti is around $1,400 there. Make sure you shop around!
For purely gaming, the 5070 Ti paired with a 9800X3D is a great option. If Micro Center is accessible, their 9800X3D bundles are an incredible deal!
Don’t forget to check out PC Part Picker! It’s super helpful for comparing prices and putting together different builds.
Check out some subreddits like /r/buildapcforme for lists and /r/suggestapc for pre-built options! They can give you a good starting point.
If you have a Micro Center nearby, look at their bundles. They have deals where you can get a CPU, motherboard, and RAM together. Their 7800X3D bundle might be a solid choice, plus they have promotions like a 7900XT for $600 if purchased with an AMD CPU.
You might consider a 7800X3D instead—it’ll save you some cash and shouldn't bottleneck the 5070 Ti.
