What’s the Best GPU for 1080p Gaming at 60-75fps?

I'm setting up a new PC with a 1080p 75hz monitor and considering getting a 5070 for gaming. However, I'm worried that it's overkill for my needs. I want to ensure that most games can run smoothly at 60-75fps, but I'm fine with some of the latest AAA titles dropping down to about 30fps. Can anyone recommend a good GPU for this setup?

I spotted a 3070 going for around 200 dollars recently. While it might be a bit overkill for just 75fps, at that price, it’s a great option to consider! 🔥

If you're looking to spend a bit more, the 5060TI with 16GB is a fantastic choice. It'll support ray tracing and give you access to DLSS 4, which will enhance your gaming experience significantly!

Forget about what's overkill or what's not. Focus on your budget and find the best GPU that fits within it. That's the smart way to go!

Honestly, there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to future-proofing your setup. If the 5070 is priced right, go for it! However, if you find the 9070 for cheaper, that could be a solid pick too. If you're considering used options, the 4070 Super is definitely worth a look.

For 1080p gaming, you could easily go for the Nvidia 5060 or 4060 series, or even an AMD 7600 or 7700XT. Just a tip: consider grabbing a B580 motherboard. If you're open to it, a used 7800XT paired with a 1440p monitor could elevate your gaming adventure even more!
