I'm building my first gaming PC and I want to know which GPU would be the best for 1080p gaming now and in the next two years. Any suggestions?

If you're looking at current options, the RTX 5090 is technically the best GPU for 1080p. However, it might be overkill for your needs. For a more reasonable choice, consider the Intel Arc B580, especially if you have a newer CPU. Just keep in mind, this GPU can underperform with older CPUs. If you want something that balances performance and cost, the RTX 5060 or RX 7600 could also do the job—just double-check your game requirements first!

I picked up a 5060 for around $330, and it's been great for 1080p gaming. It handles pretty much everything I've thrown at it in the last few years at medium to high settings without ray tracing. Definitely a solid recommendation!
