What’s the Best GPU for My PC Build?

I'm putting together a PC this summer, but I'm stuck on picking the right graphics card. I was eyeing the 7700xt when it was around $400, but now it's nearly $500, and it doesn't seem worth it anymore. I also thought about the 5060ti, but my friends aren't recommending it. They suggested I consider either a used 4070 or a used 3090, but the prices they mentioned don't match my findings online. I've spotted some used 3090s on sites like AliExpress and eBay for about $300, but I'm unsure if that's a trustworthy deal. Any recommendations on a GPU? My entire PC budget is around $1,000, and I want to keep the GPU spending under $550.

You should check out Facebook Marketplace or consider getting a used 3080. Those can be solid options if you can find them at a good price.

Thanks! Any tips on where to safely buy used parts? I'm new to this and not sure how to verify they’re legit.
