I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU since I'm currently using a 1070 TI. I was initially leaning towards the 9070 XT or the 5070 TI, and I also considered the 6800 XT, but it's priced similarly to the 9070 XT, which confuses me. Recently, I noticed that the 9060 XT with 16GB is available for half the price but offers about 45% less performance than the 9070 XT. It seems like a better deal for the money. I'm curious about any other GPUs that offer good value and could last several years before I'd need to upgrade. Should I go for the higher-end models for a bit of extra longevity, or is the 9060 XT a solid choice?

What resolution do you usually game at? If you're playing at 1080p and don't plan on upgrading your monitor soon, the 9060 XT is a solid pick. It can handle 1440p well too, especially with 16GB of VRAM. But if you're aiming for 120 FPS or more at 1440p, you might want the higher-end cards for better performance.
Consider the 7900 GRE. It offers solid performance and might be available at a good price point.
Just a heads up, the 9070 XT is almost twice as powerful as the 9060 XT according to benchmarks. If your budget allows, it might be worth the investment for future-proofing!
From what I've gathered, the performance difference is around 45-55% depending on the game, so it really boils down to what titles you play and if you use upscaling or frame generation options.
Definitely check out the 9060 XT 16GB; it seems to be one of the best deals right now, especially for budget-conscious gamers.
I have a 1440p 240Hz monitor but focus mostly on competitive games, so I lower the settings significantly. My current GPU can't keep up with max FPS unless it's simple indie titles, likely due to having only 8GB of VRAM.
