I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card and want to know what options are out there for about $300. I currently have an i7 10th gen and a GTX 2060, which I'm considering selling for around $50. Any recommendations for either new or used GPUs?

For a new option, the entry-level RTX 5050 is currently priced around $300 with tax. It's about 45% faster than your 2060 for rasterized performance. But if you're buying used, definitely see what's available to compare.

I just sold my RTX 3080 with a water block and a D5 pump for $300, so it's definitely possible to find those deals if you keep an eye out!

Your 2060 is probably worth a bit more than $50, maybe around $70 to $75. Check eBay for current prices to get a better idea!

Right! If you sell both the CPU and GPU together, you might get around $120-$150 locally.

If you don’t mind a higher power consumption, the RTX 3080 is great. Just be aware it has a 320W TDP.

It really depends on what you can find in your local used market. If you’re able to score a used RTX 3080 for around $300, that would be an excellent choice!

I’ve seen them pop up occasionally for that price!

If you’re flexible with your budget, Woot has a 5060 Ti for about $350 before tax. They occasionally have deals, like a 3050 for $170, but you need to check frequently!
