Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my AM4 setup and need some advice. I have a Ryzen 5 5700X3D and currently using a 4060 with 8GB of VRAM. I'm hoping to find a better GPU without spending a fortune, especially since prices tend to be higher outside the US. I'm considering the 4070 Ti (12GB) or the 7900 XT (20GB), but I'm not sure which would be a better choice for me. My main goal is to play games at 1440p with high settings, and I don't really care much about ray tracing. However, I have noticed that DLSS performs better than FSR, which makes me think about my options. I usually play games like The Isle, Cyberpunk, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and other newer titles, so I want something that will hold up well in the future. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you're looking for raw performance, the 7900 XT is the fastest option of the two. What's your budget like and where are you located? That could help narrow things down. Also, if you can get a good deal on it, the 7900 XT should be a solid choice compared to what you currently have!
You might want to look into the 9070 if it's available where you are. It offers a good balance of raster performance, VRAM, and decent ray tracing capabilities. Plus, it's a great option for 1440p without breaking the bank!
I think I could find a 9070. Is XFX a reliable brand for that model?
My budget is a bit tight, but I might be able to stretch for it. Just concerned about potential future compatibility.
