I'm looking to improve my gaming experience and need advice on the best GPU upgrade for my current setup. Here are my specs: I have an Intel Core i5-11400F CPU running at 2.6GHz, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660. My RAM is 2x Ballistix, and I'm using a Kingston SA2000 M.2 1TB SSD, all housed in a Fractal Design Meshify C case. I mainly play iRacing and plan to upgrade my CPU down the line. My budget for the GPU is around 800 euros. Any suggestions?

I think the Radeon RX 9700 XT would be a solid choice for your budget. It should give you a noticeable performance boost over your GTX 1660, especially in iRacing. Just keep in mind that if you're planning to upgrade your CPU later, you'll want to ensure that the new GPU won't bottleneck your system.

Is the 9700 XT better than something like the RTX 4060 series?

Yeah, generally the 9700 XT outperforms the 4060, but it depends on specific games and how well they optimize for different GPUs.
