What’s the Best GPU Upgrade for My Setup?

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card and would love some advice on my options. Currently, I have an RTX 3050, which I regret buying since I thought a bigger number would automatically mean better performance. I'm considering two main options: an RX 9060 XT for $390 and an RTX 5070 for $584, or the TI variant priced at $749. My setup includes an i5 11th gen and 32GB DDR4 RAM, so I don't really need to upgrade everything right now. I'd like to know if it's worth paying extra for the 5070 TI at MSRP or sticking with a less expensive card like the 9060 XT, considering I'd like to avoid upgrades for a few years.

I’d only go for the 5070 if it were around $550, but since it’s at $750, that’s its true value. The 9060 XT is a bit overpriced too, so unless you're on a tight budget or mainly gaming at 1080p, it might be worth it to invest in the 5070 series.

I usually game at 1440p 144Hz, so 1080p really isn't sufficient for me. But I’ll consider all options after hearing these perspectives.

If you can snag the 5070 TI at MSRP, that's a solid pick! It's hard to find cards at good prices nowadays, so I’d jump on it if I were you. Just make sure your power supply can handle it too—what wattage do you have?

I think my power supply is 750 watts right now, and I could upgrade it if needed. Honestly, I’d prefer not to touch my whole setup for a while.

The RX 9060 XT is your cheapest option, and it offers great value and efficiency if you're worried about energy costs. But if you're looking for a longer-term solution without upgrades, the 5070 TI might be the better choice even for the higher price.

I really want something that’ll last for a few years. I feel like finding a 5070 TI at MSRP is like spotting a shiny Pokémon!
