Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my GPU since I have a Ryzen 7 5800x3D CPU, which I believe is still solid for the time being. I'm looking at options like the 4070 Ti, 4080 Super, or even the upcoming 5070 Ti. However, the 40 series is hard to find at reasonable prices right now. I've heard that the 4080 Super offers great performance but only falls short compared to the 4090. Given my current specs, what would be the best choice for performance versus cost? Are there any other graphics cards that I should think about?

If you're not in a rush, you might want to hold out for the 5070 Super or the 5080 Super, which should be announced soon. They could have 50% more VRAM and be faster or more affordable. But if you need something right now, I'd recommend the 5070 Ti as it offers the best performance for the price from Nvidia.
The performance difference between the 4080, 4080 Super, and the upcoming 5080 is minimal. If you can wait for the 5000 Super models to launch, you’ll likely get improved VRAM and around 5-10% more performance for a similar price.
I’d go for the 5070 Ti. It’s the best option available under $1000 right now.

I'm kinda in a 'now' situation too, but I can wait if it's worth it. If I went for the 5070 Ti, would I need to upgrade again soon compared to the Supers?
