I'm in the process of building a new gaming PC and my budget is between $2000 and $4000. I'm looking for a powerful graphics card that can deliver great frames per second (FPS) at 4K resolution for games like Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, and Siege X. Any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, if your budget allows for a 5090, that would definitely be the way to go for performance. It gives you the best value if you plan to dive into the 4K gaming pool. Just make sure you have the rest of your build equally beefy to match!
With a budget of $4000, I’d suggest going all-in on a 4090 or, if you can find a good deal on one, a 4080. The 5090s are pretty pricey right now. For 1440p, the 9070 XT is a great way to go without spending too much. Just get a quality OLED monitor to enjoy those graphics!
Totally agree! A good monitor can make a huge difference. I'm using an Alienware QD-OLED for 1440p, and it’s amazing.
If you want to save some cash while gaming at 1440p, the 9070 XT or 7900 XTX will do the job without breaking the bank. I personally use a 7900 XT for 1440p and it's fantastic! Just keep in mind if you're aiming for 4K, your choices are more limited.
Right now I’m leaning towards 4K, but I hear you on the budget side. Do you think a good monitor upgrade could compensate for lower specs?
For top-tier FPS at 4K, you really want the 5090. It’s the only card that can deliver truly great performance at that resolution. Other than that, you might consider the RTX PRO 6000, especially if you're okay with spending a bit on high-end hardware. But be warned, the price tag isn’t light!
I’ve had decent performance at 4K with older cards too. I’ve used everything from a 1080 Ti to a 6700 XT, and I could manage playable frame rates, though not 'great' on the latest titles.

Agreed! If you're aiming for 4K, you might want to future-proof your build, and the 5090 is as future-proof as it gets.
