I currently have an RTX 3060 that I'm looking to upgrade. I'm considering the RTX 5070, but I'm curious if there's a better option out there for less money. In Poland, the price of the RTX 4070 seems way higher despite reviews suggesting the 5070 is a superior choice. Is my FOMO justified for going with the 5070?

Honestly, if you've got the budget for it, the RX 9070 XT is just around the price of the 5070 and it's about 10% faster with 16GB of VRAM. Plus, even if the RTX 5070 has some better features, you can't overlook the extra VRAM for future-proofing your setup!

Both the RTX 5070 and RX 9070 non-XT are solid options. If you want better AI features, the 5070 is the way to go. But if you prioritize having more VRAM, then the 9070 would serve you better since VRAM is becoming increasingly important with newer titles.

Have you checked out eBay? I recently scored a 4070 Super for around £390! I know in Poland the prices vary, but it could be worth looking into the used market. I've also seen RX 9070 XTs listed close to the price of a 5070, which might be a solid alternative.

In Poland, the prices are wild! The 4070 is around 4000zl, while the 5070 is 2700zl. It's crazy how much difference there can be!

If you’re aiming for the best overall performance, the RTX 5090 stands out without a doubt. But for value, the RX 9070 XT is worth considering too. It really comes down to what’s available to you and your budget.

The RTX 5070 will be a significant upgrade from your RTX 3060, boasting over twice the performance, plus it features frame generation! You might want to check the availability and pricing of the Radeon RX 9070 in your area too.
