Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for a Linux distribution that really checks a few boxes for me. First, it should use minimal system resources and be super lightweight. Second, I'm after something that has a polished and modern aesthetic. Lastly, it needs to be fantastic for productivity, especially for development work. Overall, I want a distro that's sleek, fast, and optimized for serious coding. Any recommendations?

You can't go wrong with Gentoo if you're up for a challenge. It’s powerful but requires a bit of setup. Just keep in mind, you'll probably hear, 'I use Arch Linux, by the way,' a lot in the future!
Arch Linux, but if you want something easier for beginners, try EndeavourOS instead. It gives you the Arch experience without as much hassle!
EndeavourOS sounds interesting! I might give it a shot.
CachyOS is a great option too. It's designed to be fast and should meet most of your needs right out of the box!
Honestly, your needs are pretty common, and a lot of mainstream distros would likely fit the bill. Just try a few out and see what works best for you. Are you working with very limited hardware?
I’d recommend checking out Fedora LXDE. It’s lightweight, has a modern look, and provides a solid environment for software development.
Haha, I've definitely heard that before! What’s the deal with Arch, anyway?
