I'm looking for recommendations on a Linux distro that suits my specs for daily use, coding, and IT-related tasks like virtual machine setups. I also want to do some gaming. Here are my laptop specs: HP Victus 17" with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU, 64 GB DDR5 RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 (8GB) along with AMD Radeon 780M integrated graphics. Any suggestions?

Your specs sound great for just about any distro. It really comes down to personal preference. If you're into tinkering and you're comfortable with some technical details, you might want to try Arch. However, if you'd prefer a stable experience that works right out of the box, Debian is a solid choice. There's also Ubuntu and Fedora to consider, but personally, I lean more towards Debian for its stability.

I gave Fedora and Cachy OS a spin for a bit but ran into some issues with my external monitor setup. I'm thinking of trying Debian next, looks like a good option!
