I'm using a 9950X3D processor and searching for the best motherboard to accompany it. I've heard complaints about lane splitting on many boards. Recently, I visited Microcenter and heard someone mention that the Nova board was the top choice, but I'm also checking out options on Amazon and need help figuring out which one is the best fit. I'm particularly interested in the pros and cons of different models and would appreciate any recommendations!

You don’t necessarily need an X-series motherboard; a solid option without all those extra features should work just fine.
If you don't need specific features from a high-end motherboard, I recommend going for the MSI X870E-P Pro WiFi from the Microcenter combo. It should serve your needs well.
Avoid ASRock boards for the 9000 series X3D, they tend to have issues. Lane splitting isn't a huge deal unless you're running multiple drives and GPUs. It'd be great to see your full parts list to give more tailored advice! You can use PCPartPicker to share it easily.
Here’s my parts list if it helps:
[PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TmXz8Q)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 4.3 GHz 16-Core Processor
Memory: Crucial Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6400 CL38
Video Card: PNY Dual Fan OC GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB
Total: $1759.56
Got it, I'll check that out!

I've heard that too, LOL!
