I'm having trouble downloading Fallout 4 through the Xbox app on my PC. My D drive, where I usually install games, suddenly isn't available for selecting a folder. I've had this drive for over a year without any problems. I checked the drive using CMD and ran chkdsk, but it reported no failures. I also attempted to access the WindowsApps folder, but it tells me I don't have permission. I'm kinda stuck here and would really appreciate any help anyone can offer!

How much space do you have left on your D drive? Also, is it an internet-external drive or internal? Knowing that might help narrow down the issue.
Actually, I ended up trying to download it on Steam instead, and it worked fine. So it seems like the issue is specifically with the Xbox app or the Windows Store.
Have you checked if there's enough space on your C drive too? You might want to try installing Fallout 4 there and then move it to the D drive via the Xbox app. Another option is to install it directly in the root of your D drive instead of using a folder.
