I'm upgrading my PC tower and would like some advice on the best order to transfer my components from the old tower to the new one. Any tips would be appreciated!

Start by removing the GPU, any PCI cards, and the power supply from your old case. If you're using water cooling, detach the radiator but keep it connected to the CPU unless it's been over two years since you last repasted the thermal paste—then you might as well do that too.
It's usually best to install the power supply in the new case first. From there, you can take out the motherboard along with the RAM and CPU (and maybe the water cooling) and set those into the new tower. Depending on your case design, sometimes it’s easier to put the motherboard in first, so keep that in mind.
Next, connect power to the motherboard and plug in the front panel connectors. Make sure to hook up all USB and audio connections—they can be a hassle to deal with later! Finally, install your GPU and any other PCI cards; don’t forget to connect any necessary power to the GPU.
And just a thought—if you didn't build the PC yourself or it's been more than a year, consider getting some quality thermal paste and repasting the CPU cooler. I personally set a reminder on my phone to do it every year since it’s a quick and cheap maintenance step!

Thanks for this detailed rundown! I just unscrewed all my case fans first, too. I'm definitely going with the PSU first. I’ve got a Noctua DH-15 for cooling which I know will be a bit challenging. Just ordered the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro as a replacement, though. I built my PC myself and have replaced the thermal paste before, so I'm all set on that end!
