What’s the Best PSU for My 5070 Ti Build?

Hey folks, I'm pretty new to PC building and I recently got a prebuilt system that has a Ryzen 7 9700x and a 5070 Ti. I'm a bit worried because the PSU that came with it seems to be a low-quality 1000W. From my research, it looks like I should be looking for a gold-rated ATX 80 Plus PSU around 750W. I just want to make sure I'm on the right track, so any advice from the pros out there would be awesome!

Definitely check out PCPartPicker! For the 5070 Ti, many manufacturers suggest around 850W. I recently swapped from a 750W to an 850W after my build was hitting the limits of my old PSU. It's better to be safe, plus the Gold rating is a good move for efficiency. Just make sure to avoid reusing any cables from your old PSU—they might look the same but aren’t always compatible!

Yeah, not reusing cables is key! You could damage your components, so it's best to swap them all out when you get the new PSU.
