I'm on the hunt for a budget-friendly, straightforward printer that doesn't have any wireless options like Bluetooth. I mainly need it for printing documents at home, and I would also like a scanner included. I've previously owned a few HP printers, but they've all had issues, so I'd prefer to look at brands other than HP for now. Any recommendations?

I have the Brother HL-L3270CDW, and it's been solid for home printing. Definitely worth checking out if you're considering laser printers.
A couple things to consider: do you need color printing? Also, would you prefer duplex printing to save paper? And are you good with either flatbed or document feed scanning? Those might help you choose the right model!
Stick with laser printers, they’re much better than inkjets! For the rare times I need color, I just go to a print shop. Brother is a reliable choice for home printing, I've had no issues with them. I wouldn't recommend HP or Lexmark, though they used to be decent.
If you're looking for a reliable simple printer, I'd recommend the Brother DCP-L2530DW. It's a great combo laser printer and scanner, and you can connect it via a USB cable. Super dependable for basic printing needs!

Totally agree! Brother laser printers give you fantastic value for the money.
