Hey everyone, we're a company with over 500 employees based in the GCC region. Currently, we have around 700 GB of data and are exploring our options for online, cloud, or offline storage solutions for backup purposes. What would be the best robust and secure alternative for online storage? Should we go with an offline server or opt for cloud backup instead? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered Wasabi S3? It's quite affordable and reliable, but the choice really depends on what you specifically need it for—like fast restoration or long-term archival.
It really depends on the type of data. Are you looking for hot or cold storage? If you provide more details about your use case, we can offer better advice!
Honestly, this can be overthought. With only 700 GB, you can keep it simple. Just grab a few large hard drives, set up a Debian system, and use Samba for file transfers. For backup, you can mirror one set off-site using rsync. No need for virtual machines—keep it straightforward!
I appreciate your insights. Thanks mate!
