I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade for my computer. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: BSI B550-A PRO
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: RTX 4060
- RAM: 32GB
- Storage: Verbatim Vi500 S3 480GB (SSD), TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 (HDD), WD_BLACK SN770 1TB (SSD)
- Power Supply: 550W
I feel like my PC is bottlenecking because I see others with similar setups getting better FPS. For example, I'm hitting around 200 FPS in Valorant while they're getting close to 300. I'm not sure if it's due to my power situation or if the CPU or GPU could be holding each other back.

If you're looking to upgrade, a 650W PSU would be suitable for pairing with a better GPU like the 5070 12GB.
Be cautious when comparing FPS with others unless they are testing in the exact same conditions. Do you have a monitor that goes over 200 Hz? You won’t benefit much from exceeding your monitor’s refresh rate.
If you're mainly playing Valorant, consider upgrading your CPU. For other games, a better GPU might help, but that could mean needing a new PSU and CPU as well.
