I'm looking to purchase a battery backup UPS for my setup which includes three computers and four monitors. I mainly use two of the computers for gaming and occasionally bring the third one online when I'm hosting a server for games like Minecraft or Project Zomboid. Each of my gaming PCs has two 180Hz monitors connected to battery and surge protection outlets. My wife has a 180Hz monitor along with a cheaper one, and both her PC and the 180Hz monitor are also connected to surge and battery outlets. Before deciding on a UPS, consider why you need it. If you're worried about losing unsaved data or want your game server to stay online during a power outage, investing in a UPS makes sense. However, if you just want to protect your gear from surges, a good surge protector might be enough.
I've had great experiences with Tripplite surge protectors, and they've kept my equipment safe during power fluctuations over the years. A UPS may only give you about 30 minutes of backup power, so it's not a dedicated solution if you expect outages.
