I'm considering upgrading my current GPU, which is a GTX 1060 6GB. Price-wise, the RTX 5060 8GB fits my budget, but I'm also willing to go for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB if my system can handle it properly. Alternatively, should I check out the RX 9060 XT 16GB instead? Here are my current specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
- RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4 3000 C15 (2x8GB)
- Motherboard: Asus PRIME B450M-A

The RX 9060 XT 16GB is a solid choice, especially if it's significantly cheaper than the 5060 Ti 16GB. It's worth considering if you're on a budget.

My local microcenter has the 9060 XT 16GB for $390, while the 5060 Ti 16GB is $470. Does that sound like a good deal?

I recommend aiming for the 9060 XT 16GB or the 5060 Ti 16GB. The 9060 XT is a bit slower but often comes at a lower price. Just remember that while FSR4 may not be in as many games, it tends to provide better visuals than FSR3.1, which is much more common.

Keep in mind that your motherboard can limit performance since it has PCIe 3.0 x16. If you choose an 8GB GPU, you might run into VRAM bottlenecks in newer games. So, either the 5060 Ti or the 9060 XT would be great upgrades compared to your GTX 1060.

The 9060 XT 16GB is definitely better value than the 4060 Ti. If you find it at a good price, go for it!
