I'm currently using an app called Seal for downloading videos on Android, but I'm looking for good options for Linux. I mainly want to download videos from YouTube, but I'm open to downloading from other sources too. Any recommendations?

Another solid choice is **ffmpeg**. It underpins a lot of video downloading solutions and is very versatile. If you go with **yt-dlp**, it covers most of what you need.

If you prefer graphical interfaces, try out **Media Downloader** from Flathub. It’s pretty user-friendly and supports different sites.

I usually just use my browser to stream and download, but if you're looking for something more specific, you could consider other tools as well!

A good option in Firefox is the **Video Download Helper** extension. It makes downloading videos easy right from your browser!

For downloading YouTube videos on Linux, I recommend using **yt-dlp**. It's a command-line tool and works really well. If you’re looking for music, check out **spotdl**, which is also simple to use. Both tools are super effective!
