I'm looking to dual boot Windows 10 alongside my existing Linux Mint installation on my hard drive. I want to ensure that all my files and settings in Linux remain intact and that I don't have to reinstall my apps. Any advice or steps to follow would be greatly appreciated!

When dual booting, keep in mind that Windows and Linux apps aren't cross-compatible, so you'll likely need to reconfigure things. If you mainly use Linux and just want Windows for a few games, that might be unavoidable, but it could be worth it for the gameplay.

Yeah, I get that! I plan to stick to Linux for everyday tasks and just boot into Windows for gaming. It’s a hassle, but hopefully, it'll work out.
